They still have their place in Holland, I saw all and they have been and continue to sell.
Most have prior year. I've never owned a pair I do not like the style myself. (And not just me!) The popularity did not last long. I do not think it would be very convenient to walk around the wood under my feet.
But even here, the Swedes have used for years, in my opinion, so they obviously something that I know ... lol

My mother still wears his woodshed Swedish Swedish at home, constantly. They are very comfortable. I walked behind me, years ago, otherwise they could not with them!
